Amy's virtual defence

Congratulations to Amy Janik who successfully defended her MS thesis on March 26! With the transition to online classes and a stay-at-home order, Amy had to quickly adjust to the new reality that her defence would not be anything like what she had imagined. But with WebEx, Amy navigated our new reality, gave a fantastic presentation, and successfully defended her thesis.

What's next for Amy? Amy will be starting this fall at Texas A&M University, working with Kira Delmore on avian hybridization (https://www.delmorelab.com). An amazing opportunity!
